The opening week of the NFL season has come and gone and some teams are already looking like front runners off the block, while others are desperately trying to avoid an early season crisis after just two weeks. Some heavy hitters will square off against each other, and some teams that are in dire need of a win will meet this weekend but first we will start with an AFC East rivalry that kicks off Week 2 from South Beach.

Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins, 8:15 p.m. ET, Thursday September 12

These teams don’t like each other. Not one bit. If that’s not enough reason to tune in then how about this: Even though it’s Week 2, this game is likely to go a long way in deciding who wins the AFC East. Since the New England Patriots dynasty came to an end, the Buffalo Bills have dominated the division, winning the last four titles. The Dolphins are catching up and now eyeing the top spot in the division and maybe even the AFC. There seems to be a transfer of power in the division as Miami went out and made their team better, where the Bills are leaving it all up to Josh Allen after off loading a lot of his favorite weapons during the offseason. Expect fireworks from South Beach as two of the most explosive teams with two of the top quarterbacks in the game to toe-to-toe for a Thursday Night Showdown.

New Orleans Saints vs. Dallas Cowboys, 1:00 p.m. ET, Sunday September 15

Perfect second week match up for FOX after the Saints and the Cowboys laid the biggest beatdowns of anyone in the opening week. The Saints crushed the Panthers 47-10 to ignite the excitement in the Big Easy. Starting the season against Carolina is the dream scenario, this Sunday we will see if they are for real as they take on the Cowboys in Dallas following their drubbing of the Cleveland Browns. Dak Prescott and Micah Parsons mopped the floor with the Browns who were expected to be a contender in the AFC after a surprising playoff run with mostly back ups last year. We will find out which scoreline was the more indicative of who the big dog is in the NFC. Oh, and we will also get to listen to game 2 of the Tom Brady era on FOX.

Cleveland Browns vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, 1:00 p.m. ET, Sunday September 15

Two of the most disappointing teams from Week 1 face off on Sunday from Jacksonville as the Jags look to rebound from another heartbreaking game that will remind fans of last season’s collapse in the last half of the season. They gave up a two TD lead while Trevor Lawrence and the offense flat lined in the second half against a Dolphins team that won it with a last second field goal. The Browns never had a chance after getting beat in all three phases of the game against the Cowboys. Questions are surrounding Deshaun Watson’s worthiness of being the QB1 are starting to swirl in Cleveland. He will be hoping to silence those people this weekend. It’s too early for a must win situation, but these two teams are looking to avoid the alarm sirens from sounding after Week 2.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Kansas City Chiefs, 4:25 p.m. ET, Sunday September 15

It wasn’t so long ago that the Cincinnati Bengals looked like they were going to be the team to challenge the Chiefs in the AFC on a year-to-year basis, but that hasn’t been the case over the last few seasons. The Chiefs meanwhile have rattled off two straight Super Bowls and made a statement win over the Baltimore Ravens who look to have taken the Bengals place as the best team in the AFC North. The Bengals are coming off a shocking home loss to the Patriots and now have to go into the house of the two time defending champion and try to come out with a win to avoid an 0-2 start to the season. Neither Ja’Marr Chase nor Joe Burrow did much in Week 1. That can’t be the case in Arrowhead on Sunday.

Chicago Bears vs. Houston Texans, 8:20 p.m. ET, Sunday September 15

The Sunday Night Football showdown between the best young quarterback in the game and the most hyped young quarterback in the game may not be the best match up on paper, but it will be fascinating for Caleb Williams to get a glimpse at C.J. Stroud after his near disastrous performance in his rookie debut. He threw for less than 100 yards completing less than half of his 29 passes and the offense didn’t score a single point. DeMeco Ryans defense is going to have plenty of surprises in store for the rookie on Sunday night while C.J. Stroud and his beefed up offense look to improve to 2-0.
