By the end of Week 18, the opponents for the whole 2023 season had been set. Each team in a division plays the other two teams in the division twice. They also play one game against each of the four teams in the other conference’s division and each of the four teams in the other conference’s other division. In the remaining two divisions of the same conference, they will play the teams who finished behind them in the standings. The 17th opponent changes each year.
Looking ahead, I can't imagine there's a team in the NFL next season with a greater discrepancy between home and road opponents than Detroit in 2023. Home schedule is a relative breeze, road schedule is a gauntlet.
Schedule details will be made available in May. Here’s a glimpse at each team’s home and away games:

Moreover, this is just the seventh occasion since the NFL-AFL merger in 1970 that all six games in the first round are rematches from the regular season. Previous to this coming season, the last time this happened was in 2009.
