Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders take their signature high kicks on the road for Texas tour
The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will hold live auditions, giving fans a chance to vote on their favorites to make the 2025-26 squad.
If you watched the Netflix series, “America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders”, then you know how grueling the tryouts are to become a part of the NFL’s most famous cheerleading squad. Now, you’ll have a chance to be a part of the process if you’re in Texas.
DCC hits the road for Texas tour
For one week, between May 24 and May 31, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will tour five different cities in Texas. They’ll perform some of their signature routines, including of course their famous game-opening performance to “Thunderstruck”.

In each spot along the tour, there will be live tryouts on stage, and fans will be able to vote to send one DCC hopeful to the final round of auditions at the Cowboys’ headquarters at The Star in Frisco.
Along with the auditions, the tour will include a Q&A in which participating cheerleaders will “open up about their personal journeys, inspirations, and triumphs”, according to a press release. DCC Senior director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell will be there to take questions as well.

- Saturday, May 24: Dallas, Music Hall at Fair Park
- Sunday, May 25: San Antonio, Majestic Theatre
- Tuesday, May 27: Austin, Paramount Theatre
- Thursday, May 29: Midland, Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center
- Saturday, May 31: El Paso, Abraham Chavez Theatre
