Giants, Titans or Browns? This is who Deion Sanders wants to draft his son Shedeur
The NFL Draft is less than a month away and teams like the Tennesse Titans and Cleveland Browns are in need of a quarterback at the top of the Draft Board.

The Tennessee Titans are unofficially on the clock. After a three-win season, it’s the Titans who, at least for now, have the first pick in the NFL Draft. There are a handful of teams at the top of the draft board that need quarterbacks, and Sheduer Sanders is one of the most desired signal callers in the 2025 class.
Sanders vs. Ward
Sanders doesn’t just have NFL pedigree, as the son of a Hall of Famer, Deion Sanders, he showed what he was capable of over the span of his college career. He started his journey with at Jackson State, just a year after his dad took the job with the Tigers. He then followed Deion to Boulder and was the quarterback of the Colorado Buffaloes for the last two years.
The Buffs went 9-4 this season as coach Sanders continues to turn the program around. They went from 4-7 two years ago, to 9-4 this year, and despite the 13-11 record over, Shedeur put up fantastic stats. He threw for 3,230 yards, 27 TDs and just 3 INTs while completing 69.3% of his passes and tis year, upped those numbers. He finished 4th in passing yards with 4,134, second in passing TDs with 37 and threw just 10 INTs while completing 74% of his passes which was tops in the nation.

The only quarterback who may have had a better season statically, is Florida’s Cam Ward who passed for 4,313 yards (1st in nation), 39 TDs (1st in nation), and just 7 INTs. Either Cam or Shedeur will be the first pick in the 2025 Draft. Either way, it won’t take too long for both to be taken off the board.
Titans, Giants, Browns in running
The Tennessee Titans have the top pick, and need a quarterback but they aren’t the only ones. The Cleveland Browns also need a QB, and they have the No. 2 pick. The New York Giants have the three pick, and despite signing Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson over the last week, they could be interested in a quarterback as well.
“If it’s New York, if it’s Cleveland, Tennessee, if it’s still the Raiders, if it’s New Orleans. If it’s any of those teams seeking a QB, I’m happy with it.”

Deion has recently stated that his son could pull an “Eli” if he was taken by a team that he felt didn’t suit Sanders well, but it seems like the Hall of Famer is ok with whichever team might be in the running to select his son. “Shedeur has told me, he’s talked to me intently about all the visits he’s had with all the teams, so I know where his heart is, I know where he wants to go,” the Colorado coach said in an interview on the Skip Bayless Show. “If it’s New York, it’s New York, if it’s Tennessee, if it’s Cleveland, if it’s still the Raiders, if it’s New Orleans, if it’s any of those teams that are seeking a quarterback, I’m happy with it, man. Because I know what he’s going to do to the organization.”
The “Eli” reference refers to Eli Manning who was drafted by the San Diego Chargers with the No. 1 pick, but stated that he wouldn’t sign with the team, and forced a trade to the New York Giants.
