NFL Week 18: Why isn’t there a Thursday Night Football game tonight?
There will be two nationally televised football games this Saturday. Here’s what you need to know
The final week of the NFL regular season is going to be slightly different than the typical schedule football fans are used to over the first 17 weeks of play. Perhaps most notably, there will be no Thursday Night Football.
Like every year, the League has no games on Thursday because the NFL doesn’t want teams who are competing for a playoff spot to play their games on a short week and they don’t have any scheduling flexibility with those games. This year was the first season that Thursday Night Football was on Amazon Prime.

However, the NFL has two nationally televised Week 18 games on Saturday since there are no conflicting games from college football and Sunday will be crammed with games.
The Kansas City Chiefs (13-3) will play the Las Vegas Raiders (6-10) on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET and the Tennessee Titans (7-9) will play the Jacksonville Jaguars (7-9) at 8:30 p.m. The Ravens-Bengals, on the other hand, will be played at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
As for the Bengals-Bills, the NFL reportedly decided not to resume the Bills-Bengals Week 17 game.
