For that reason, every Mahomes involvement is being examined closely.

Even with that context, the news fuels optimism in Kansas City. The mere presence of the quarterback in early team dynamics represents significant progress compared with previous months. It also sends an internal message. The Chiefs are recovering their competitive centerpiece and reactivating a structure built around his talent.
