Super Bowl odds for each team heading into Conference Championship weekend

The Conference Championship weekend is set as the Seattle Seahawks take on the LA Rams and the New England Patriots will play the Denver Broncos.

Update:

And then there were four. There are just three more games left in the NFL season, and this week we prepare for the NFC and AFC Championship games with the winners book their tickets to the Super Bowl.

NFL’s final four

Both top seeds are still alive in both conferences as the Seattle Seahawks blew out the San Francisco 49ers in their first game of of their playoff campaign. The Denver Broncos needed overtime but they held off the Buffalo Bills and returned to the AFC title game for the first time since 2015 when they won the whole thing.

The New England Patriots are knocking on the door of a return to Super Sunday after beating the Houston Texas from Foxborough. Meanwhile the only Wild Card team remaining is the Los Angeles Rams who won their second road playoff game, this time against the Chicago Bears in an overtime thrill from Soldier Field. Now it’s the Rams vs. Seahawks and the Patriots vs. Broncos in the AFC with the NFC teams dubbed as the favorite in the eyes of the MGM odds makers.

Seattle Seahawks (+150)

The Seattle Seahawks won their Week 18 game over the San Francisco 49ers to win the one seed and have the right to host their playoff games all the way up to the Super Bowl. They used that home field advantage to spank San Francisco in the Divisional Round and now they have an NFC title game match up with another NFC West opponent in the LA Rams. Their defense has been spectacular all year long, and on Sunday they will have to keep an MVP candidate quiet in front of their 12th man at Lumen Field. Running back Zach Charbonnet tore his ACL last weekend, so that leaves Kenneth Walker, Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba to do the heavy lifting against the Rams.

Los Angeles Rams (+220)

Second favorites in the eyes of the odds makers are the Los Angeles Rams. In a year that no one has really been a clear cut favorite to win it all, the Rams have been the popular picks among experts and explayers. They have an MVP candidate in Matthew Stafford, and the best WR in the league in Puka Nacua. They have experience in this situation after winning the Super Bowl in 2021, and they are going to need it to get past the Seattle Seahawks from Lumen Field on Sunday evening.

New England Patriots (+250)

The turnaround season in still in progress. After winning just four games all of last season, the Pats brought in Mike Vrable to straighten the ship and now the former line backing legend has led his team to the AFC Championship in his first year back in Foxborough. Drake Maye is the other candidate in the two horse race for MVP, and Vrable’s defense is the back bone of this team that finished second in the AFC. They will have to go on the road to get back to Super Sunday, but they will do it against a team with a back up QB and spirits shot after Bo Nix was injured in the Divisional Round game.

Denver Broncos (+1300)

It’s no surprise that the Broncos are at the bottom of this list. It’s unfortunate, and you wonder where they would have been had Bo Nix not got injured on Sunday. While it’s heartbreaking, that’s the harsh reality in the Mile High City, and while they will have the entire city rooting them on under their own roof, and a defense that has locked opponents down all season long, they are going to have to beat the Pats with Jared Stidham. Beating the Patriots seems like a long shot, but beating NE and then either the Rams or Seahawks in the Super Bowl with a QB that hasn’t thrown a pass since 2023 seems like a near impossibility.
