Nothing to see here, move along. The Super Bowl was stopped after the Halftime Show as a man ran on the field and forced play to be stopped. His motive is, at the time of writing, unknown, and he didn’t get much time to spread anything as security moved Swiftly with the fans looking on.

The San Francisco 49ers had had the better of the play in what was a tight game, with the fury from the Chiefs visible to see with Travis Kelce clashing - literally - with coach Andy Reid.

Fans were indeed up for the slight pause in play, and many, like the one above, quickly whipped out their phones before the invader could begin his performance. As mentioned, it was handy work from the high-visibility jacketed officials, who rapidly apprehended the person and removed them from the field of play.

The game was resumed shortly after and the Chiefs began their comeback campaign against the 49ers who had built up a lead in Las Vegas. The game at Allegiant Stadium proved to be hugely dramatic with Moody’s record-breaking goal only standing for a few hours. There were, as well as this huge feat, plenty of talking points and tiny tactical decisions being the key to the game. We also had the bad news of the 49ers linebacker, Dre Greenlaw, drop out with a freak leg injury.
