The most exciting new project for Christian McCaffrey
The wife of the San Francisco 49ers has revealed her husband’s newest project.
Normally, San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey sets his challenges on the football field, with his side fighting to win that elusive Super Bowl. However, this time it fell to his wife to announce their latest plans, and with it a completely new challenge for the Colorado native.
His wife, Miss Universe 2012 winner Olivia Culpo, has revealed that she is pregnant, marking McCaffrey’s toughest challenge yet: fatherhood.
Writing on Instagram, Culpo wrote “next chapter, motherhood” together with photos cradling her baby bump.
As well as the baby news, Culpo also hinted at her next project, writing that “I have never been more excited about a project. I can’t wait to share this with all of you. And no, it’s not a mixtape.”
Is Christian McCaffrey leaving the 49ers?
As for the football, McCaffrey’s future at the 49ers has been shrouded in mystery as rumours circulate regarding a potential switch that would see him drop the red and gold of the San Francisco side for a new team altogether.
The main source of the rumour seems to be ESPN’s Ryan Clark, who said that the Niners should trade McCaffrey as part of a full-scale rebuild.
From there the talk has spread like wildfire and and seeing the All-Pro leave so soon after saying goodbye to Deebo Samuel, Kyle Juszczyk, Talanoa Hufanga and Dre Greenlaw would not be a rebuild but a complete demolition.
Last season, the NFC West saw one of the worst performances ever from the 49ers, with the side losing 11 of 17 games and finishing rock-bottom in the division. Playoff hopes were never an option for the team who could not find form at any moment and their season never managed to take off.
