This is Alina Thyregod: Bears’ QB Caleb WIlliams’ Danish girlfriend
In his rookie NFL season, Williams can count on the backing of fashion industry worker Thyregod, who he is dating for the second time.
Caleb Williams was the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, which means he is not only expected to do the business on the field as the Chicago Bears rookie quarterback, but has also seen every aspect of his personal life thrust into the limelight as one of the league’s hottest prospects. That, of course, includes girlfriend Alina Thyregod.
Williams and Thyregod’s relationship timeline
Williams and Thyregod have officially been together since October 2023, when he was in his final year at USC, although they are technically in their second spell of dating.
The pair attended Gonzaga College High School in Washington D.C. together and “dated a little bit,” the Bears star has previously explained.
As often happens after high school, they drifted apart, although this time they reconciled further down the line: “We ended it, but kept in strong communication throughout four years. We’re back dating again,” Williams continued.
Their first high-profile public appearance together came at the 2024 Draft, where he was also joined by his parents. We haven’t caught too many more glimpses of Thyregod otherwise, with the pair keeping their relationship private for the most part.
However, Alina has appeared in the odd story on her boyfriend’s official Instagram account, while has had featured in several of her TikTok videos. She has, of course, also been spotted watching the Bears, as well as stepping out with her date at occasional events.
Thyregod hails from Denmark but moved to Washington D.C. at a young age because of his father’s job. She has performed multiple roles in the fashion industry, working as a production designer, model and social media influencer.
