What is Reece Weaver doing now? Life after the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders

One of the most popular Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders to emerge from the Netflix-era of America’s Sweethearts is hanging up her boots. What’s next for Reece?

Update:

For many viewers of Netflix’s America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, the biggest moment of Season 3 came in the finale when fan favorite Reece Weaver made an emotional announcement about her future.

After three seasons with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Weaver revealed she was retiring from the squad and moving on to what she described as a “new chapter.”

The decision marked the end of one of the most popular cheerleading journeys featured on the Netflix series, but it also left many viewers wondering what’s next for Reece Weaver.

Why Reece Weaver retired from DCC

Weaver’s departure did not come completely out of nowhere. Throughout Season 3, she openly discussed the physical and emotional toll of continuing her cheerleading career. She dealt with hip pain during the season and later suffered a high ankle sprain that forced her to miss games while recovering.

More importantly, though, Weaver appeared to be wrestling with questions about her future beyond cheerleading. In conversations with her husband, Will Allman, she spoke about wanting to discover who she was outside of cheerleading. While she loved performing alongside her teammates and treasured the friendships she had built, she also acknowledged that she was entering a new stage of life.

When she ultimately informed DCC director Kelli Finglass and choreographer Judy Trammell of her decision, Weaver became emotional as she explained that her “cup is filled to the brim” after three years with the organization.

The moment quickly became one of the most talked-about scenes from the newly released season.

What is Reece Weaver doing now?

Although Weaver admitted in the finale that she did not have every detail of her future mapped out, she hinted that several opportunities were already emerging. The biggest change is that she has increasingly built a career as a content creator.

Thanks in part to her popularity on America’s Sweethearts, Weaver has developed a massive social media following that now exceeds one million followers on both Instagram and TikTok. Her platforms feature a mix of lifestyle content, fashion posts, home projects, faith-centered content and glimpses into her everyday life with Allman.

What began as simple cooking and kitchen-focused videos has expanded into broader lifestyle content. One recurring feature that has attracted attention from followers is her “Floral Friday” series, where she creates flower arrangements and shares decorating ideas.

Weaver has also continued working with brands and attending public events, creating opportunities that extend beyond her years as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader.

Is Reece Weaver still married?

Weaver and Allman remain together and frequently appear in each other’s social media content. The couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary earlier this year after marrying in 2024.

Their relationship played a significant role throughout season 3, particularly as Weaver weighed one of the most important decisions of her adult life.

A growing platform beyond football

While many former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders remain connected to the organization in some capacity, Weaver appears to be building something different. Her popularity on Netflix transformed her from a rookie hopeful into one of the faces most closely associated with America’s Sweethearts. Fellow cheerleaders even joked during season 3 that fans specifically showed up to see Weaver. That visibility has given her a platform that extends well beyond the football field.

At just 24 years old, Weaver leaves DCC as one of the most recognizable personalities to emerge from the Netflix era of the organization. While she has not fully revealed what her next professional move will be, her social media growth, brand partnerships and expanding content career suggest she already has plenty of options ahead. For now, Weaver’s pom-poms may be retired, but her public profile appears to be bigger than ever.
