“I’m always gonna be in good shape, I’ll always be able to throw the ball. So to come in for a little bit, like M.J. coming back? I don’t know if they’d let me, but I wouldn’t be opposed to it.”

Words to light up an entire nation. Yes, Tom Brady may be coming back to NFL, but nothing is confirmed as of yet. However, that has not stopped fans from speculating and placing their bets on where they think the Patriots legend is going to end up, should his comments turn into cold, hard reality.

Which team could sign Tom Brady?

First of all, the odds of whether he returns to NFL at all, is a +1000 proposition. However, given the amount of injuries to various quarterbacks this season, we may see those numbers slide down as a call for the 46-year-old increases in likelihood.

As for the teams who may - or may not - sign him, right now the favourites are the Raiders, at +125 with the behind at Patriots at +300. The Bucs are at +500, the 49ers at +900, the Dolphins at +1200, the Jets at +2000, and any other team at +500.

Don’t rush out to buy your new jersey just yet, however: Raiders and Patriots are low simply because Brady mentioned them when discussing his possible return to the sport. “Patriots? Could be. Raiders? Could be. You never know”, he said, sending fans into delirious dream states.

However, things may just seem too good to be true. Brady, who owns English football club Birmingham City, has signed a reported 10-year, $375 million contract with TV broadcaster Fox Sports, which will see him join their team in the near future. Getting out of such a huge deal would be a tough task and Brady has previously opened up on his desire to do his best in his new role on the screen.
