If Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow needs someone to crunch his on-field stats, he could do well to look no further than his girlfriend Olivia Holzmacher. She majored in data analytics and social sciences at Ohio State University where she met Burrow in 2017, before going on to work as a Senior Process Specialist and Analyst at supermarket giant Kroger, building dashboards for e-commerce and delivery to optimise metrics, so she knows a thing or two about organising the numbers that matter.
Holzmacher was already a football fan
Before meeting Burrow, Holzmacher, born April 27, 1997, was already a football fan, posting to Instagram back in 2015 from the Green Bay Packer’s Lambeau Field. “Go pack go”, she captioned the post.
She’s from Mason, Ohio though, so her natural football team would in fact likely be her beau’s Bengals, with Cincinnati just a half-hour drive south on the I-71.
An on-going love story between Holzmacher and Burrow
Holzmacher and Burrow as a couple made their Instagram debut soon after starting dating in August 2017, though sadly that photo has now been consigned to the great Internet trash can. In it, they were cuddled up on the football field at Ohio State University, Burrow in his red jersey with the number 10 on it. Holzmacher captioned the photo: “10/10… 1 being the best”.
At Ohio State University, Holzmacher was a proud member of the Alpha Phi sorority.
Burrow moves but love affair continues
Burrow moved to Louisiana State in 2018, where he would go on to make his name in what Bleacher Report called “the greatest individual season” in the history of college football. He was awarded the Heisman Trophy with a near-record-breaking number of votes. But Burrow’s move from the Buckeyes to the Fighting Tigers didn’t stop his burgeoning love affair with Holzmacher.
When he moved to LSU he posted a photo with Holzmacher and the caption: “The first chapter was a pretty great one… now it’s time to write the next one.”
Supporting Burrow in the NFL and at the Super Bowl
Holzmacher has been by Burrow’s side as he was drafted first pick overall in the 2020 NFL draft by the Cincinnati Bengals. He then came back from injury in his rookie season to take the Bengals to the 2022 Super Bowl, where despite their 23-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, Holzmacher said she was “entirely proud”.

Back at the end of the 2022-23 season, there was a lot of speculation after Holzmacher was spotted wearing a diamond ring, but so far engagement rumors have been neither confirmed nor denied by the couple.
Fun fact about Olivia Holzmacher
In December 2017, Olivia introduced her Goldendoodle puppy, Beau, on Instagram, describing him as “way too calm and sweet.”
