Who is Puka Nacua’s girlfriend? Meet Hallie Aiono, the Rams’ wide receiver’s biggest fan
Who is Hallie Aiono, Puka Nacua’s girlfriend? Here’s everything you need to know about the wide receiver’s latest catch.
Puka Nacua’s rise to fame in 2023 has seen him fly into the headlines with his girlfriend around his arm. Hallie Aiono, his partner of Polynesian descent, has been seen with the wide receiver on multiple occasions and has created her own following due to her support of Nacua that she has shown on social media.
The wide receiver and content creator have been seeing each other since around 2021 and over the years, Aiono’s fandom for the Rams has not gone unnoticed, with eagle-eyed fans spotting her at games and wearing the gridiron gear. Despite the popularity, they are indeed a couple who prefer to keep things private, adding to the mystery and intrigue surrounding them.
Where is Hallie Aiono from?
Aiono grew up in Arizona with three siblings; their mother is American while their father is half Samoan and half Maori.
According to Aiono’s LinkedIn page, she holds a number of jobs. As well as being a content creator, the 25-year-old is also a dental assistant and a paraprofessional in a special education school.
Alex Aiono, the famous brother
Hallie is, arguably, not the most famous of her siblings. Alex Aiono, her older brother, is a famous singer whose career took off after the family moved to Los Angeles from Arizona when he was 14. Alex has collaborated with John Legend and has even dipped his toes into the world of acting, appearing in Pretty Little Liars.
The two Aionos have both uploaded videos to social media of them singing together and the pair, it seems, are very close, as they both share the same tattoo: a letter A on their wrists.
Aiono goes viral on social media
In October of last year, Aiono went viral after the NFL reposted the video of her reaction to Nacua’s first career touchdown (above).
The heartfelt moment spread across social media like wildfire of the content creator in tears after the wide receiver caught a 22-yard touchdown pass in overtime to put the Los Angeles Rams ahead 29-23 against the Indianapolis Colts. “Oh my God” was all she could muster, but it captured the moment - and the feels - perfectly well.
