The Philadelphia Eagles took to the streets to celebrate their Super Bowl LIX title with the City of Brotherly Love, but gun shots broke out during the celebration.

Two people were injured on Friday afternoon as shots rang out during the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl Parade.

Suspect is still on the loose

The gun shots took place on Ben Franklin Parkway as fans gathered to celebrate the Eagles second Lombardi Trophy in franchise history. According to police, the suspect was wearing a gray Eagles jersey, but not much more is known about the person in question.

The shooting took place at the intersection of 23rd and Spring Garden in a large crowd of people who lined the streets. The two victims are currently in stable condition after being tended to in a medic tent close to the scene of the crime.

The search is still on going, and police are investigating if the two women who were shot knew the shooter.
