With the schedule released, we can take a closer look at how the year will turn out. The games played at the beginning can really shape the whole season. If teams can avoid the potential Super Bowl contenders, they can get their bearings together for when the tougher matches come along.

On their first outing, the Jets will face the San Francisco 49ers. The game will take place on September 9th at 8:20 p.m. ET. This will be a Monday Night Football match, and it will also be Aaron Rodgers second game as a Jets player. The QB is healthy to play; moreover, the game is special for him since the 49ers passed on him in the 2005 draft, even when he, as a kid, proclaimed to be a San Francisco fan.

During the match, Purdy imitated Aaron Rodgers famous “discount double check,’ to what 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan told ESPN that he has to “check” Purdy. ‘I was like, dude, what are you doing? You’re a rookie. You can’t be doing that. What are you talking about with Aaron?’

Lastly It is worth noting that Leonard Floyd, the player responsible for sacking Rodgers and ending his season, is now a member of the 49ers. This will be a great game, and you won’t want to miss the comeback of Aaron Rodgers.
