Why isn’t Isiah Pacheco playing for the Chiefs against the Bills on week 11? Injury update
The Chiefs face one of their toughest tests of the season so far as they look to extend their winning streak at Highmark Stadium.
The Kansas City Chiefs are hoping to take their winning streak at the start of the season to 10 games when they take on the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium in Week 11 but will once again be without the services of running back Isiah Pacheco.
When will Isiah Pacheco return for the Chiefs?
Pacheco has been sidelined since suffering a fracture fibula in the Chiefs’ Week 2 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on September 15. Placed on Kansas City’s injured reserve list (IR) three days later, he has now been re-activated, offering hope he could make his return to action in Week 12 against the Carolina Panthers (Sunday, November 24).
Chiefs injury report vs Bills: Schuster, Butker, Omenihu...
Speaking ahead of the game versus the Bills, head coach Andy Reid confirmed Pacheco and pass rusher Charles Omenihu weren’t yet ready to return, but said wide receive Juju Smith-Schuster is likely to be involved after his own fitness issues.
Long-term injury victims Rashee Rice, Marquise Brown and Jaylen Watson have been joined on injured reserve this week by kicker Harrison Butker, who has had surgery on a left knee injury. The player himself said the operation “went great” on social media and is expected to be out of action for three to four weeks.
When was the last time the Chiefs last an official game?
The Chiefs are likely to face one of their toughest tests of the season so far against the Bills, who top AFC East with an 8-2 record and are 4-0 at Highmark Stadium.
Not counting preseason, Andy Reid’s team have won their last 15 games, stretching back to Christmas Day 2023, when they were beaten 20-14 by the Las Vegas Raiders.
