Update:

Since the beginning of the 2023 season, Taylor Swift has become synonymous with the NFL thanks to her boyfriend Travis Kelce. The singer has gone to as many of the tight end’s Kansas City Chiefs games as she can in that time to support him, while he’s attended the shows he could on her Eras Tour.

But the upcoming 2025 season is going to be different.

Why Swift is “genuinely excited” for 2025 NFL season

The last two football seasons have been chaos for Swift, who was bouncing around across the globe from one Eras Tour show to another and to football games in between. The tour started early in 2023 just before she started dating Kelce, and only just concluded in December 2024 right before the end of last season.

So the upcoming 2025 season will be the first full season that Swift isn’t busy with her Eras Tour. Swift says she is “genuinely excited” for the season this year. An insider spoke to People to explain why this season will be “completely different” for Swift.

“Taylor is really looking forward to the upcoming NFL season,” the insider said. “Not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she’s not juggling a packed tour schedule.”

“The past two seasons were a whirlwind between performing across multiple countries, long flights, and trying to squeeze in alone time together wherever possible. It wasn’t easy but they made it work,” People’s insider said.

They said that Swift is looking forward to showing up for Kelce “more consistently” this season now that she’ll have more free time. So it looks like she’ll be blessing our screens a lot more in 2025.
