Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur opened Friday’s press conference by announcing that quarterback Jordan Love has been listed as questionable on the injury report for a game against the Tennessee Titans in Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season.

The quarterback was scheduled to miss three to six weeks of action. However, he was seen at practice Wednesday and practiced on a limited basis throughout the week. The coach said his medical clearance remains to be seen.

Jordan Love back in business

“He’s doing everything he can. He, more than anyone, wants to be out there,” LaFleur said. “We’ll work on it. We’ll give him until the game and see where he’s at.”

Love suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee in a Week 1 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL’s first game in Brazil. The quarterback completed 17 of 34 passes in São Paulo for 260 yards with two touchdown passes and one interception

Malik Willis would be the starter if Love is ruled out again

Malik Willis was the Packers' starting quarterback in Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts and would repeat against the Tennessee Titans if Love is unavailable. This would mean facing the team that drafted him in the third round of the 2022 Draft.

Against the Colts, Willis had the best performance of his early NFL career. The Liberty University graduate caught his first touchdown pass after completing 12 passes for 122 yards.

The NFL Week 3 regular season game between the Tennessee Titans and the Green Bay Packers will be played at Nissan Stadium, Nashville on Sunday, September 22, 2024, kicking off at 1 p.m. ET.

Viewers in the United States will be able to follow the action live on Fox, or through streaming services such as Fubo, DirecTV Stream and Sling, all of which are currently offering free trials or promotional deals.
