2024 Olympics in Paris: complete list of women’s golf representatives by country
The summer of sport explodes across the French capital, and the best golfers will be there to compete for gold, silver and bronze medals.
Golf is once again back on the agenda for the Olympic Games, with both men’s and women’s competitions scheduled in for Paris 2024. It’s a sport that had only previously been included in the iconic summer sporting extravaganza twice prior to 2016 in Brazil (over a hundred years of a gap till then) but returned in 2021 at the Tokyo Games and now in France.
The same format continues as players aim for the lowest score across four days of stroke play. The men’s event runs 1-4 August while the women take the limelight 7-10 August, the final day seeing the medals confirmed at Le Golf National in southern Paris, a course designed by architects Hubert Chesneau and Robert von Hagge.
In Tokyo the winner of the women’s event was Nelly Korda from the United States with Japan’s Inami taking silver and Ko from New Zealand securing the bronze medal. Let’s take a look at the 60 players that have qualified, via their global ranking, for this year.
