Why does Gabby Williams play for France?
The former WNBA player has dual citizenship and has been playing in Europe since 2022 despite being drafted by the Chicago Sky. She can play for France because her mother Therese is from there. Gabby grew up in the US, but is fluent in French. She currently plays for Fenerbahce in Istanbul.
