The US Open faces another decisive day this Monday in which four men and four women will win the remaining quarterfinal slots. Outstanding favorites for the title will be fighting to advance, such as Spaniards Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz in the men’s draw and Iga Swiatek of Poland in the women’s draw.

22-time Grand Slam event winner Nadal will be playing in the morning session against No. 24 Frances Tiafoe of the United States. He has a chance to reclaim the world number one spot after Nick Kyrgios knocked current world number one and defending champion Daniil Medvedev out of the competition.

In the evening, teenage sensation Alcaraz takes center stage against 2014 US Open champion Marin Cilic of Croatia. The two last faced off at the Western and Southern Open in Cincinnati, with the 19-year-old making quick work of Cilic in straight sets.
