2023 Charles Schwab Challenge: Round 1 tee times, pairings and featured groups
The 2023 Charles Schwab Challenge is almost here and we bring you all the need-to-knows ahead of the tournament
The Charles Schwab Challenge, teeing off May 25-28 from Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, is right around the corner.
The tournament is sandwiched between the PGA Championship and the Memorial and offers a $8.7 million purse. The likes of Scottie Scheffler, Jordan Spieth, and Viktor Hovland, and a number of other top players will be leading the field.

Charles Schwab Challenge Format
The Charles Schwab Challenge is an invitational field, limited to 120 players. The cut will be the top 65 players, including ties, with Sam Burns as the defending champion.

Charles Schwab Challenge: Round 1 tee times
The event has a smaller field than normal tournaments.
While Scheffler and other top players mentioned above headline the field, Justin Rose, Zach Johnson, Chris Kirk, Kevin Kisner and Rory Sabbatini are among the former winners of the tournament who will be seeking the trophy again.
