Matt McCarty is 18 holes away from his first PGA Tour victory after a 7-under 64 moved him to 19-under overall, leading by two shots at the Black Desert Championship in Utah. The 26-year-old’s round included seven birdies, an eagle, and two bogeys, with his strongest stretch coming on holes 4 through 8.

Despite no PGA wins, McCarty recently secured three Korn Ferry Tour victories, which he’ll hope gives him the confidence needed to stay the course on the final round. Chasing him are Joe Highsmith (62), Kevin Streelman (63), Harris English (66), and Stephan Jaeger (68), all tied for second at 17-under, just two behind. Check out the full, dynamic leaderboard.
