2024 John Deere Classic: How much does being a member at TPC Deere Run cost?

In all, 156 golfers will be on the green this week at TCP Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois, ready to show their best tricks and shots in preparation for what is to come in the Tour.

A 156-player field has been announced for this year’s John Deere Classic - the 30th event of the 2024 PGA Tour and the prelude to the British Open at Royal Troon.

With the British Open set for 14th July, many top players will be taking a break from the John Deere Classic to prepare for the upcoming tournament as they need to conserve their energy for what’s to come in South Ayrshire. Golf game involves strategic elements that revolve around rest and preparation. This year’s event will feature eight players from the top 50 world ranking.

TPC Deere Run established in 2000

The TPC Deere Run is a golf course located in Illinois on a 385-acre parcel of land with a storied history - having once been home to a Native American settlement!

The course spans 7,289 yards, has a par of 71 and is specifically designed to challenge players’ shot-making abilities. Since its opening in 2000, it has been the host venue for the PGA Tour’s John Deere Classic.

It boasts a state-of-the art clubhouse, offering breathtaking views of the 18th hole and the picturesque Rock River with casual and formal dining available throughout the year at the the Greenside Grille restaurant.

But how much does being a member of the TPC Deere Run cost?

If you are interested in becoming a member, the initiation fees are appealing. There are three membership options available as part of the PC Deere Run’s Annual Pass Programs. The first option is an annual seven-day pass, which costs $3,700 and offers unlimited golf, no cart fees and other perks such as special pricing for accompanied guests ($85 before 2 p.m. and $69 after 2 p.m.). Pass holders will also have the option to hire a private locker in the Player’s Locker Room for an additional $100/year.

The second option is a weekday (four-day) pass, which costs $2,600. This offers access to the course from Monday to Thursday and many of the advantages that are included in the annual seven-day pass such as discounts for accompanied guests and 25 per cent off food and beverages at the clubhouse.

The third option is a junior annual pass, which costs $2,200. Members, who must be under 22 years of age, are allowed to bring guests with them. The cost for accompanying guests is $85 before 2 p.m. and $69 after 2 p.m. All membership options do not have monthly dues. There is also a monthly payment option (fees will apply) which is $575/month for seven months (minimum 5-month commitment); $880 for 2 family members or $1,030 for three or more.

Another option is the non-resident annual pass which this year will cost $2,600. This option is available to those who do not own, rent or reside in a property within a 50-mile radius of TPC Deere Run. It offers unlimited golf, with no cart fees and the opportunity to bring along guests ($85 before 2 p.m. and $69 after 2 p.m.).

TPC Deere Run is open to the public, making it easily accessible for those who wish to experience it. In addition, it is worth noting that the prices at this particular PGA Tour course are among the most reasonable compared to other US courses.

The green fees for playing golf can vary depending on factors such as the time of day and time of year. The range typically falls between $69 and $199 for a group of one to four players. Additionally, you can book unlimited golf, allowing you to play a second round on the same day.
