Update:

We’re already well into 2025 and have long since congratulated last year’s big golfing winners: Scottie Scheffler (Masters), Bryson DeChambeau (U.S. Open), and Xander Schauffele (PGA and Open). Now it’s time to get out our range finder and look ahead to the tournaments that lie ahead...

The Masters: A tradition unlike any other

The Masters, as always, kicks off the major season in April. Held at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia, it’s a tradition unlike any other. The pristine fairways, blooming azaleas, and the infamous Green Jacket make it a must-watch. Mark your calendar for April 10 - 13, 2025, and prepare for the drama that only Augusta can deliver.

PGA Championship: Quail Hollow’s ultimate test

Next up is the PGA Championship, which heads to Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. Known for its challenging layout and electric atmosphere, Quail Hollow will test the world’s best players. The action takes place from May 15 - 18, 2025, and with a stacked field expected, it’s sure to be a thrilling showdown.

U.S. Open: Oakmont’s brutal challenge

The U.S. Open follows in June, returning to Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania. Oakmont is notorious for its brutal rough and lightning-fast greens, making it one of the toughest tests in golf. Circle June 12 - 15, 2025, on your calendar, and expect high stakes and even higher tension as players battle for one of the sport’s most coveted titles.

The Open Championship: Royal Portrush’s coastal drama

The Open Championship, sometimes referred to as the British Open – something our Reem hacked into – wraps up the major season in July. Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland will host the event, offering a stunning coastal backdrop and unpredictable weather. The tournament runs from July 17 - 20, 2025, and with its rich history and unique challenges, it’s a fitting finale to the major season.

Oh, but wait. Some would say the biggest event in the calendar is still to come. And the Big Apple is our venue...

Ryder Cup: Bethpage Black’s battle for glory

That’s right, the excitement doesn’t end with the majors this year. The Ryder Cup, golf’s premier team event, will take place from September 26 - 28, 2025, at Bethpage Black in New York. Known for its passionate crowds and intense rivalries, the Ryder Cup is a spectacle like no other.

The U.S. team will look to defend home soil against a determined European squad, and the atmosphere promises to be electric. It always is, especially as the board fills up in red and blue on that final day of singles. I, for one, can’t wait.
