The Avalanche are the only team to have never lost a road game this season, and are in fact the only team to have never lost a Stanley Cup Finals, winning in four straight against the Florida Panthers in 1996 and in seven against the New Jersey Devils in 2001.
Preseason favorites, they have made the playoffs look easy, sweeping the Edmonton Oilers in four games in the Western Conference finals.

Tampa has a rockier start to the Eastern Conference finals, battling back from a 2-0 deficit to win four straight against the New York Rangers, and are on the cusp of creating a modern-day dynasty if they can three-peat.
Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Colorado Avalanche will face off on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET
All Stanley Cup Final games will appear live on ABC and ESPN Plus.
The Tampa Bay Lightning become the 1st team to make 3 straight Stanley Cup Finals since all 4 rounds were made to best-of-seven in 1987!
