Saúl Álvarez is a skilled boxer who is set to take on John Ryder in an upcoming match. Many are anticipating a victory for Álvarez, who is favored to win.

Canelo had recently undergone hand surgery, but he appears to have made a full recovery and is eager to demonstrate that he is still the same formidable fighter. He is set to face an imposing rival who has very little to lose, and Canelo is determined to secure a convincing victory.

The fight is scheduled to occur at Estadio Akron, which is situated in close proximity to Guadalajara in the Mexican state of Jalisco. The upcoming boxing match will mark the return of Mexico’s renowned athlete to his native land after an absence of eight years, thus signifying a significant homecoming event.

A crowd of 50,000 enthusiastic supporters is anticipated to be at the fully-booked location.

Nevertheless, Canelo remains ambitious and determined to attain additional accomplishments. And has now set his sights on making a switch to golf after his boxing career is over.

Will Canelo take on golf and leave boxing behind?

Most revealing about what he thinks of boxing and golf are his words about what he believes is harder.

“I’ve boxed since I was a kid. It comes easy to me. It is harder to be consistent at golf. One shot can be great but the next terrible. One round great, next day a horrible. One tiny alteration in making the shot can mean a big difference.”

Canelo has confirmed his intentions regarding taking up golf as a potential future career.

“After three or four more years boxing. So I can add more to my legacy before my place in the sport is judged by others. We’ll see. It would be amazing if I could make the PGA Tour. Fantastic if I ever got to play in a major.’
