David Benavidez vs Anthony Yarde: schedule, TV; how and where to watch the boxing card in the USA
Benavidez defends his new light heavyweight crown in Riyadh as Yarde chases a long-awaited breakthrough on a stacked championship card.
David Benavidez makes his first defense of the light heavyweight belt once left vacant by Dmitry Bivol, intent on proving he’s ready to keep building his legacy. Across the ring will be Britain’s Anthony Yarde, chasing an upset he has long imagined.
The arena in Riyadh is set for The Ring IV: Night of the Champions, a packed card featuring four title fights. Brian Norman puts his WBO welterweight belt on the line against former world champion Devin Haney. Abdullah Mason and Sam Noakes will battle for the vacant WBO lightweight crown, and Jesse “Bam” Rodríguez meets Fernando Martínez to unify the super flyweight titles.
Benavidez still isn’t ruling out a future showdown with Canelo, but with the Mexican star declining the matchup, he decided to jump to the 174-pound division (about 78.9 kg). He is now champion there and looking to defend his belt after a unanimous-decision win over Cuban fighter David Morrell that left some observers unconvinced.
Yarde arrives hoping the third time truly is the charm in his hunt for a world title. After opening his career 18–0, he suffered his first loss in 2019 against Sergey Kovalev and was stopped by Artur Beterbiev in 2023.
What time is the David Benavidez vs Anthony Yarde fight?
The Benavidez–Yarde fight is part of The Ring IV: Night of the Champions card taking place this Saturday, November 22, in Riyadh. Ring walks are expected at 9:00 p.m. ET (8:00 p.m. CT / 6:00 p.m. PT).
If you don’t want to miss the action from Saudi Arabia, DAZN will carry the entire card live and exclusively.
