Tyson Fury, the former World Boxing Council heavyweight title holder, has a strong feeling about the YouTuber’s future.

Former heavyweight champ makes bold Jake Paul prediction
Jake Paul has shaken up the boxing world after entering the World Boxing Association’s official rankings. So much so that he’s already being floated as a future opponent for former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua – and one legendary fighter believes he’d win without much trouble.
Tyson Fury, the former WBC heavyweight champion, made waves in an interview with Ring Magazine ahead of the Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois fight at Wembley Stadium. He claimed that Paul would knock Joshua out with ease and praised the American’s fearless approach to taking on fighters across every weight class.
“I think Jake Paul would knock Anthony Joshua out,” Fury told the magazine. “I think AJ is spent and Jake Paul is on the way up. I like him as a heavyweight – a little chubby, a little bulky.”
Fury went on: “I like the way Jake Paul challenges everyone, from featherweight to heavyweight.”
Paul, who beat Julio César Chávez Jr. in June, has been vocal about his ambitions to become world champion. He’s mentioned Joshua, Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramírez and Badou Jack as potential opponents – and even threw in Gervonta Davis, despite Davis holding a lightweight title.

Anthony Joshua’s KO losses
Joshua has suffered four defeats in his professional career, two of them by knockout. The first came against Mexican-American Andy Ruiz Jr. at Madison Square Garden on June 1, 2019. Joshua hit the canvas in the seventh round, having already been knocked down twice in the third.
His most recent KO was even more devastating. On September 21, 2024, Daniel Dubois overwhelmed him in what became a brutal clash of British giants. The fight ended in the fifth round after Joshua was floored four times in under five rounds and failed to beat the count.
