US teenager Coco Gauff is into her first ever Grand Slam singles final, where she’ll face world number one and 2020 French Open winner Iga Swiatek.

Gauff, 18, saw off Italy’s Martina Trevisan in straight sets in Thursday’s semi-final at Roland Garros, claiming a comprehensive 6-3, 6-1 win.

Pole Swiatek also swept her opponent aside in the last four, taking just an hour and four minutes to despatch Russia’s Daria Kasatkina earlier in the day.

The 21-year-old’s 6-2, 6-1 victory was her 34th consecutive win.
