Tiger Woods’ return to tournament golf has been rough as the former No. 1 has explained that he’s trying to get back into playing form after months on the sideline. He can still hit the ball along side the young guys, but he’s not getting any younger and needs to shake the rust off before the 2024 season gets underway.

Woods is currently in 16th place out of 20

Making hist first appearance since the Masters in April, the 47-year-old understandably got off to something of a slow start, with his opening-round 75 leaving him in 18th spot in the 20-man field at the end of Thursday. However, a two-under 70 in round two was an improvement for Woods. He shot a 71 on Saturday and is currently 16 shots behind the leader Scottie Scheffler.
