The Royal Montreal Golf Club (French: Le Club de Golf Royal Montréal) is the oldest in North America and the oldest in continuous existence, celebrating 150 years in 2023. It was founded in Montreal by eight men in 1873. Queen Victoria granted permission to use the prefix “Royal” in 1884.

Royal Montreal was one of the five founding clubs of the Royal Canadian Golf Association, established in 1895 as the governing body of golf in Canada. The association organizes major national championships, including the Canadian Open, which was first played at Royal Montreal in 1904.

Royal Montreal hosted the Presidents Cup in 2007 and the Canadian Open in July 2014. In late September 2024, the Presidents Cup will once again be held on the blue course at Royal Montreal Golf Club.

How much does it cost to watch the Presidents Cup?

All tickets grant fans access to various public venues, the opportunity to sample local cuisine from renowned Montreal-based restaurants with acclaimed chefs, and the chance to stand alongside the rope line to watch the world’s top players compete for their respective teams.

Two (2) youths aged 15 and under per ticketed adult will be admitted to the grounds free of charge. No pre-registration is required for the Youth Ticket Program. For select hospitality, such as the Captains’ Club and International Club, youth over 5 must have proper hospitality tickets to gain access to the venue.

Presidents Cup tickets will start at $50.85 for the early rounds of the tournament, while tickets for later tournament rounds and VIP options will often be priced as high as $1296.90. Throughout the tournament, ticket prices will usually average around $301.67. Presidents Cup - Tuesday passes for September 24th, 2024, at TBD, will start at $215.10, with prices going as high as $215.10.
