How much money have the 2022 Tour de France teams made?

Cyclists are on the second day of rest in the French race before facing a tough week. Teams have already earned some money at this point in the contest.

With the first nine stages of the 2022 Tour de France finished, the teams enjoy some rest before facing a new week of mountain stages, where they will scale peaks such as Megève, Alpe d´Huez or Mende.

Tadej Pogačar will have to defend the yellow jersey from his major opponents such as Roglic, Enric Mas, Vingegaard and Nario Quintana, among many others. These cyclists still have 13 stages left to topple the Slovenian and to get more prize money for their teams.

In total, nine stages of the French round have been completed, in which there is already a total of $351,352 distributed among the 22 teams competing in this Tour de France.
