How much prize money did Alex Noren win at the 2025 BMW PGA Championship?
The cash prize has remained the same since 2023, plus DP World Tour points and Official World Golf Ranking points.

Alex Noren clinched the 2025 BMW PGA Championship in dramatic fashion on Sunday, birdieing the first play-off hole after finishing level alongside Adrien Saddier on 19 under after 18 holes at Wentworth Club.
It was the 43-year-old Swede’s second title at Wentworth - he won the 63rd edition in 2017; his third third Rolex Series title and 12th DP World Tour title, following on from his recent victory at the Betfred British Masters.

Noren: “Today felt like a fight”
“The playoff felt a little easier than maybe coming down the 72nd hole, a little bit better conditions. I thought I’d hit that one in the water, but I had a great lie trying to put it up here on the right side of the green,” Noren said afterwards. “I think the water got us both maybe. It was tougher than we thought. Today felt like a fight, I think he probably outplayed me to the green but that’s how it goes”.
With today’s win, Europe’s Ryder Cup vice-captain stands to pocket a substantial windfall - almost three times the amount he took home for his win in Sutton Coldfield last month, his first tournament triumph in seven years.
Noren claims $1,530,000 as the winner’s share of the $9 million purse BMW PGA Championship prize pool. Saddier will take home a $990,000 check for finishing as runner-up and Patrick Reed will get $567,000 for coming in third.

As a Rolex Series tournament played prior to the playoff, the BMW PGA Championship also offers 8,000 Race to Dubai Ranking points. Noren picks up 1,335 DP World Tour points, and moves up 28 position into fifth in the ranking behind Rory McIlroy (4,084.56), Marco Penge (2,856.24), Adrien Saddier (2,428.33) and Tyrell Hatton (2,311.08).
And on top of all that, there are a projected 50.24266 Official World Golf Ranking points on their way to Noren for winning the event. The Swede will also get a two-plus season exemption on the DP World Tour, as well as berths into other big tour events.
