Jannik Sinner rounded off a memorable 2025 in style by winning the 2025 ATP Finals in Turin. The Italian, despite being pipped to the year-end world No. 1 spot by Carlos Alcaraz, defeated the Spaniard 7-6, 7-5 in the final to claim the season-ending title for the second year in a row.
Grand Slam dominance
Sinner claimed two of this year’s four Grand Slam titles thanks to victories in the Australian Open in February and Wimbledon in July, where he defeated Alcaraz in the final. He was also the losing finalist in the French Open and the US Open, falling to Alcaraz in both.

Record prize money haul at ATP Finals
Sinner’s victory in Sunday’s final sees him take home a record $5,071,000, the richest payout in the tournament’s history.
That was the maximum prize money available, with the amount determined by the number of games won in the round robin. Sinner topped the Bjorn Borg Group with a perfect record thanks to wins over Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton and Félix Auger-Aliassime.
The Italian then defeated Australia’s Alex de Minaur in straight sets in the semifinals.
