The first US 1000 Masters of the calendar has started and all the best players in the world have gathered in California looking to go all the way and become the Indian Wells champions.

Although legends Rafa Nadal and Novak Djokovic missed the BNP Paribas Open, there will be quite a few top players making their debut today.

The second-best US player in the ATP rankings, Frances Tiafoe, will take on fellow countryman Marcos Giron in an all-American contest.

The crowd attending Indian Wells, considered the biggest tournament outside of the sport’s four majors, will also see top contenders Stefanos Tsitsipas, Alexander Zverev, and Matteo Berretini in action.

Meanwhile, in the women’s category, American talents Cori Gauff and Jessica Pegula will be two of the main attractions of the day. They will play against Cristina Bucsa and Camila Giorgi, respectively.

Friday’s matches at Indian Wells are scheduled to start from 2 pm ET to 10.30 pm ET.
