Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua undercard: Here’s the complete list of fights before the main event

After Jake Paul’s planned exhibition bout with Gervonta Davis collapsed because of Davis’s history of violence, the YouTuber-turned-professional boxer announced last week that he would instead step into the ring with former unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua at Miami’s Kaseya Center.

Paul vs Joshua fight night details

The fight is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 19, at 8 p.m. ET and will stream live on Netflix.

36-year-old Joshua has not fought since Sep. 21, 2024, when he was knocked out by Daniel Dubois. Despite the setback, promoter Eddie Hearn insists Joshua remains one of the biggest names in boxing.

Joshua’s path back to the spotlight

The Englishman’s record stands at 28 wins and 4 losses, with two to Oleksandr Usyk, one to Andy Ruiz (which he later avenged), and the most recent to Dubois, which cost him his belts.

For both fighters, the matchup looks like a win-win. Paul gets the chance to prove he can beat elite-level boxers, while Joshua returns to the spotlight after more than a year away.

Undercard now finalized

The full undercard for the December 19 fight has now been revealed. It includes several bouts that were originally scheduled for the canceled Paul vs. Davis event.

Alycia Baumgardner will defend her unified IBF, WBO and WBA super featherweight belts against Leila Beaudoin in a 12-round co-main event, with each round lasting three minutes.

MMA legends collide

MMA icon Anderson Silva had been due to face former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman on the Paul vs. Davis card, although the New Yorker was forced to pull out because of injury. He has been replaced by former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.
