Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury purse money: How much will they make and how will they split?

Both fighters will finally meet in Saudi Arabia after two previous failed attempts. The clash promises to be exciting, but how much money will they make?

It will finally happen. After lots of trash-talking and a couple of failed attempts to arrange a boxing fight, Jake Paul and Tommy Fury will settle the score in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday.

Social media celebrity Paul and Tyson Fury’s half-brother Tommy were first set to battle it out in 2021, but the reality TV star withdrew while citing injury and illness. After that, travel issues prevented Fury from traveling to the US to face Paul.

Both men are undefeated, with the Cleveland native having the better resume (6-0), with victories over MMA artists Tyron Woodley, Ben Askren, and Anderson Silva.

Fury’s last fight took place last April when he earned a points win over Daniel Bocianski to improve his record to 8-0.

How much will Jake Paul and Tommy Fury make?

Paul is the A-side coming into the fight, as he has earned more notoriety over the years than his opponent thanks to his Disney and Youtube work.

Moreover, he has made a name for himself in boxing by efficiently advertising his fights and recording good results against fighters who were supposed to defeat him.

His fight purse will be $3.2m, and he will also take 65 percent of the pay-per-view money, which raises the overall prize money to $8.6m, including sponsorships.

Meanwhile, Fury, who had a fighting basis due to the Fury family’s boxing tradition and became a reality TV personality in the UK, will be taking a $2m purse and 35 percent of the PPV share, for a total amount of $4.5m.
