John Cena is returning to WWE Monday Night Raw | Road to Wrestlemania 39

John Cena is set to return to WWE for an episode of Monday Night Raw which airs on March 6. It will be his first appearance with the company since Dec. 30.

Update:
John Cena enters the Guinness Book of World Records

WWE legend John Cena will officially be returning to the organization for an episode of Monday Night Raw airing on March 6. He will be at the live event to be held at TD Garden in Boston in his home state of Massachusetts.

The 45-year-old has only been making sporadic appearances with the company as he has been busy with his acting career, so his March guesting will be a treat for wrestling fans.

Cena’s last performance with the promotion was at the end of 2022, when he joined the final SmackDown episode of the year. He and former rival Kevin Owens took on and defeated the duo of Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn.

John Cena on WrestleMania 39?

There had been speculations that Cena would set up a match for WrestleMania 39 which will take place at the beginning of April. Current United States champion Austin Theory might just be the superstar that could face the 16-time World Champion if Cena does participate in WWE’s flagship event taking place at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 1 to 2.

Theory wins Elimination Chamber fight

Theory successfully defended his title on Saturday night in an Elimination Chamber battle against five opponents. After his triumph, he was asked about a possible showdown with Cena in tinseltown, to which he replied, “Why does everybody talk about John Cena? Why? Why don’t they talk about me? Because now they’re going to talk about me. Because tonight I showcased my immortality inside that chamber.”

If the clash between the two champions does take place in WrestleMania 39, it looks like fans can definitely expect sparks to fly.
