Michael Schumacher joins F1 legends in signing Jackie Stewart’s charity helmet
The seven-time F1 champion, who suffered life-changing injuries in a skiing accident in 2013, was helped by his wife to write his initials.

Since suffering life-changing injuries in a freak skiing accident in 2013, Michael Schumacher has remained out of the public eye, and his health continues to be a mystery.
However, the Formula 1 legend has signed a special helmet to be worn this Sunday by 85-year-old British F1 icon Jackie Stewart. Stewart, a three-time world champion, will take part in a tribute lap at the Bahrain Grand Prix to raise funds for dementia research.
The Bahrain GP organizers have confirmed that all 20 living Formula 1 world champions have signed the unique helmet which Stewart will wear during the event.
As part of the tribute, Stewart will drive his championship-winning Tyrrell car from 1973, marking the 60th anniversary of his Formula 1 debut.

Schumacher signs Stewart’s charity helmet
Helped by his wife Corinna, the German driver managed to trace his initials ‘MS’ on the white helmet which features a Royal Stewart Tartan trim that will be auctioned to raise funds for Sir Jackie Stewart’s Race Against Dementia charity.
“It’s wonderful that Michael could sign the helmet in this worthy cause – a disease for which there is no cure. His wife helped him, and it completed the set of every single champion still with us," Stewart told The Daily Mail.
Stewart established the charitable organization Race Against Dementia in 2016 after his wife, Helen, was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. The foundation focuses on funding groundbreaking research to accelerate progress toward finding a cure for this devastating illness.
