The 57-year-old boxing legend will step into the ring on July 20 to face Jake Paul in a fight that will be aired on Netflix. He showed his muscles in an event in Virginia.

Mike Tyson (50-6-0, 44 KO) will fight again, this time against Youtuber and boxer Jake Paul (9-1-0, 6 KO) on July 20 at AT&T Stadium, in Arlington, Texas. The event will be shown live on Netflix.

Tyson attended a fan meeting in Virginia, where he signed autographs and took his shirt off to show his ripped physique at 57 years old.

“I don’t need a shirt. I have to show them what they are betting on! I want to show off how good I look, how in shape I am!”, the former heavyweight champion said at a Fiterman Sports Group autograph signing in Virginia to promote his return to the ring.

Tyson, who retired from professional boxing in 2005, will feature in an exhibition fight -after the one that saw him face the also former champion Roy Jones Jr. in 2020- against Paul, who will be 58 on fight night, almost a 31-year difference.

Tyson, in great shape ahead of his clash with Paul

Despite his age, the former boxing king proved he’s still in good shape. He shared some training videos on social media showing that he still possesses great power in his fists.

He will have to pass a medical check, including different electroencephalogram (EEG) and electrocardiogram (EKG) tests to make sure there’s no brain damage or heart issues.

Tyson appeared alongside legend Roberto Duran. The 72-year-old Panamanian looked good after recently being hospitalized due to an atrioventricular blockage and thanked all the support from the fans. Hands of Stone got a pacemaker implant, as his heartbeats were “a bit irregular due to the obstruction of the artery”, said one of his sons, Robin Duran.
