Attentions turn to Salt Lake City, Utah which hosts UFC 307 this evening with two main events at the Delta Center. Alex Pereira (11-2)will defend his light heavyweight title against Khalil Rountree Jr (14-5) while Raquel Pennington “Rocky” (16-9) will be scrapping it out with Julianna Peña (12-5) for the women’s bantamweight belt.

Completing the main card line-up are three bouts José Aldo vs Mario Bautista for the bantamweight title, Ketlen Vieira vs Kayla Harrison in the women’s bantamweight title fight and Roman Dolidze vs Kevin Holland in the middleweight category.

Pereira set to cash in

As the top billing, the biggest name and as defending champion, Alex Pereira is expected to take home the biggest slice of the purse. The Brazilian pocketed around $3 million for KOing Jiri Prochazka at UFC 303 back in June and is reported to be assured a similar fee this time around. According to Sporty Salaries, Pereira is guaranteed $750,000 and will top that up with a significant cut of the PPV revenue.

Rountree Jr. meanwhile is set to collected a set fee of $500,000, with bonuses and PPV cuts which will beef up his total income for the night to $1.8 million.

In the co-event, Rocky Pennington will earn $500,000 as she defends her title, with Julianna Peña receiving $400,000 as her base salary - but both could bump up their earnings to $1 million with a share of the PPV income.

Likewise, Jose Aldo will make $400,000 with his opponent Mario Bautista to rake in $110,000.

UFC 307 takes place at the Delta Center, Salt Lake City on Sunday 6 October 2024, starting at 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT. with the main card bouts starting at approximately 8:30 p.m. ET and the headliner roughly scheduled for after 10 p.m. ET.

The full event will be broadcast by ESPN+ on PPV  in the United States and worldwide on UFC Fight Pass.
