Rahm’s unbelievable shot to win the Masters
Jon Rahm’s incredible shot to the 14th hole in the final round of the Masters shows his unbelievable talent as he went on to win the 2023 Masters.
Jon Rahm won his first green jacket on Sunday after coming back to beat third-round leader Brooks Koepka and it was his 14th hole that really left an impression.
Rahm’s Masters victory
Rahm opened the first round with a four-putt double bogey, but then ended that round at 65. He then shot 69 in the second and 73 in the third. In the final round, Koepka was in the lead at 13-under-par through six holes. Rahm was second at nine under.
Koepka had two bogeys at holes 12 and 14, but a birdie at 13. The bogey at 14, though, dropped him back five shots to tie for third. Rahm teed the ball into the rough on the 14th, but his second shot went onto the green and curled in a birdie.
Though Koepka got close with birdies in the 15th and 16th, Rahm opened up a four-shot lead with a par on the 17th and Koepka bogeyed. Rahm won his second major victory of the season, finishing with a final-round-3-under-par 69 for a total of 276.
