The World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Lightweight champion, Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero has hyped the fight by calling Isaac Cruz a “coward”, even as far back as the first face off last month, when he called him a “Chihuahua”, a play on Cruz’s nickname “Pitbull.”
“Chihuahua, poodle, he king of looks like a pug right now. He’s a little fat right now. I mean, it’s self-explanatory. That doesn’t need any explanation.”

For his part Isaac Cruz went all out in his response, assuring everyone that he will knock Romero out.
“Let (Romero) say what he wants. After the fight, he will be the real Chihuahua. Right now everyone is laughing, but on fight night, everyone in Rolly’s house will be crying.”
In the final face off, Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero wore a gold chain with a Isaac Cruz Chihuahua medallion. The pair fight on the undercard of Sebastian Fundora vs. Tim Tszyu in Las Vegas on Saturday, March 30.
