Round 2 of the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs: teams, times, bracket
Eight teams remain in contention for the biggest prize in ice hockey as the second round of the 2024 Playoffs commence.
The first round of the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs offered plenty of drama, and this was the case in the matchups between Dallas and reigning champions Las Vegas with the Stars ending any hopes the Knights had of retaining their title with a 4-3 series win.
The clash between Boston and Toronto also went to the wire and in game seven, David Pastrnak scored 1:54 into overtime as the Bruins beat the visiting Maple Leafs 2-1 on Saturday night in Game 7 of an Eastern Conference first-round playoff series to set up a second round test against the Florida Panthers.
As things stand, the Edmonton Oilers are the team tipped to go all the way and are the betting favourites to secure a eighth title with the pitted against the Vancouver Canucks in an all Canadian matchup.
