Who is Collin Morikawa married to? Meet his wife Katherine Zhu
Here’s everything you need to know about Colin Morikawa’s wife.

As the Ryder Cup creeps closer, the excitement is bubbling away like a Martian geyser. Fans from across the globe will come together at Bethpage Black on Long Island to celebrate the festival of elite sport as Europe takes on the United States.
Given the hype surrounding the tournament, we’re taking a look at the stars on the green and off it. Here, we’re taking a deep dive into the life of Collin Morikawa — the third-youngest PGA Championship winner since World War II — and his wife, Katherine Zhu.
Zhu was born in Vancouver, Canada, but spent her early years studying in China, where she attended private school. Take one glance at her family tree and one will notice that athleticism runs —literally— in her family: her father, Mike Zhu, played tennis, while her mother competed in track and field. Zhu was a talented tennis player herself before shifting more focus toward golf during her schooling.

Zhu later returned to the U.S. for her university degree, studying at Pepperdine University as well as playing a lot of golf. While at Pepperdine, she earned academic honours, including recognition as a WGCA All-American scholar and WCC All-Academic.
She met Morikawa while playing golf at college in 2017, despite the couple going to different universities. They quickly hit it off, with Collin later telling Golf Central that he was “very lucky to have her.”
The happy couple got engaged in late 2021 and tied the knot in November 2022 in Los Angeles, Morikawa’s home town. “Kat has been by my side through it all,” Collin added.
