What is Aryna Sabalenka’s WTA ranking after winning the 2025 US Open?
Sabalenka is the 2025 US Open champion and has received multiple rewards for her victory over Amanda Anisimova in the ladies singles final.
Aryna Sabalenka is the 2025 US Open champion after a 6-3, 7-6 victory over the USA’s Amanda Anisimova in Saturday’s final at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.
How much prize money did Aryna Sabalenka get for winning the 2025 US Open?
For her efforts, Sabalenka takes home a winner’s check $5,000,000. That’s the largest champion’s payday of any Grand Slam in 2025, and a $1.4 million increase from the $3.6 million on offer in 2024.
Anisimova the big winner in WTA Rankings
As Sabalenka went into the tournament as the defending champion and the world No. 1, there has been no change in her WTA Ranking. In fact, the 27-year-old maintains exactly the same lead over Wimbledon champion Iwa Swiatek, who also repeated last year’s US Open performance by losing in the quarterfinals.
Despite being defeated in the final, Anisimova is the big winner when it comes to WTA ranking. As the American was knocked out in the first round last year, she has gained a huge number of ranking points this time around, which translates to a jump of five places to No. 4, a new career high.
Sabalenka targets Wimbledon and Roland-Garros
Sabalenka’s victory means she has now won four Grand Slam titles, two at the US Open and two at the Australian Open. The Belarusian has yet to win Wimbledon or the French Open, which will be among her targets in 2026.
