Update:

Manny Pacquiao is one of the most important boxing legends of recent times. The Filipino is remembered for his great fights with Antonio Margarito, Miguel Cotto, and the saga against Juan Manuel Márquez; however, he will now return to the boxing scene after several years of retirement.

“Pacman” has a fight against Mario Barrios for the WBC Welterweight Championship, a fight that has been widely criticized for his inactivity. However, the MGM Grand is willing to host him once again in a fight for a belt.

When was Pacquiao’s last fight?

Manny’s last professional fight was on Aug. 21, 2021, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. That time, he faced Yorndenis Ugas, but the fight didn’t go as he expected, ultimately losing a unanimous decision in a 12-round bout.

Since then, Pacquiao decided to put aside his boxing gloves to dedicate himself to his political career in his country. However, after a while, he decided to return to the boxing world to fight for a championship against a Mexican who had already defeated the Filipino.
