The Colorado Avalanche prevailed over the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 6 to collect their third NHL Stanley Cup, and they’re ready to celebrate with their fans.

It was a hard-earned win after a two-decade-long drought, but the team did keep their unbeaten record unblemished, as they have not yet lost a Stanley Cup final. The celebration will kick off in downtown Denver, and culminate in a rally at Civic Center Park.

Colorado Avalanche parade route

The parade will start near Ball Arena, home to the Avalanche, proceed through 17th street, before ending up at the park. The rally is expected to begin at noon and last for about an hour.

The team’s players, coaches, and staff will be honored by fans and Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock. Also expected to grace the rally are team owner Stan Kroenke, team president Josh Kroenke, and Bernie, the team’s mascot.
